3 Years of Age

Here's my best girl the day she turned 3. In all her yellow jawbreaker lollipop glory. She makes me smile and scream all at once. Sometimes she is so frustrating I want to cry. In fact once I did. You know what she did when she saw me? She laughed. Prompting a discussion on people's feelings. It's amazing what children don't know... what you have to teach them. It's amazing. Amazing.

Bryan and I took her to her 3 year check up today. She's 31 lbs and 38.5 inches tall. She more than hit all of her milestones, managed to crack up nurses/doctors trying to examine her/her ears, and she even threw a tantrum upon entrance... she's definitely 3. :)

I found some interview questions online to ask her. I'd like to be able to ask them each year on her birthday (and EG's for that matter) to see how much she grows and changes, what her likes and dislikes are, how she feels, and who her friends are... I'm really excited. Here they are.

What is your name? Reese Wizbiff Pattison
How old are you? Free

What do you want to be when you grow up? Ride on a horsie. Why? Cuz I'm free (three).

Who are your friends? My friends are so scary... because they are scaried (not scared) of the ghost. (We had just finished watching the Halloween "Word World", and there was a ghost.) Annabel and Leo, Daddy, Reesie, Emma, Mommy, Aaron, Jackson... Jackson is weally weally shy, Brett, Grandma and Grandaddy, (here is where I began prompting) Ayee (Aly), Houston... I fell at Houston's birfday party in a hole, and Winston.
