Rachel here. This was the best Mother's Day ever for me to date. Reese made me this little gift at preschool. The wrapping alone made me tear up. It's hard to tell but she wrote "to mom love Reese." :) Inside was a plastic baby food container that she painted and filled with beads and random trinkets. NO CLUE what it means exactly, but it made me love her even more, and it may have made me giggle uncontrollably. :) It's definitely something I'll treasure for the rest of my life.
Most of the things we wanted to do for Mother's Day were on Saturday as opposed to Sunday, so I really got the whole weekend to celebrate. :) We started Saturday morning with a trip to the paint your own pottery place in Roanoke. I can't wait to see my finished platter! It was followed by a nice lunch at the ever so child friendly Macados. We then meandered on over to the Science Museum and Farmer's Market. We ended the day at a cookout with some friends, but not before we headed over to the Strawberry Festival. Quite easily my favorite picture ever. Thank you Bryan, Reese, and Emma Grace for one of the loveliest days of my life. :)
(Sunday I got BEAUTIFUL flowers and a scrumptious breakfast too!)
