Just chillin' poolside

The last day before heading back to The Burg, we had a BBQ/Pool Party at Gpa and Pearl's with Nana and Pop.  It was a lot of fun, and I spent ALL day in the pool.

Isn't summertime grand?

Take me out to the ballgame...

Saturday was Talon's Detroit Tigers baseball themed bday party.  It was HOT, so we basically ran a muck in Tommy and Angie's home for 2 hours. :)  The decor was fabulous, the food was creative, the cake was yummy, and the company was impeccable.  We love birthdays. :)

We have amazing friends. :)

Pampers vs. Pampering

EG here... I'm on a roll!  HA!  While at Grandpa and Pearl's, we ventured to the nail salon to get a little pampering in.  We got manis and pedis... so chic. :)

And then Mommy went to get her hair cut... she was long overdue and has since began wishing she had gotten more hair chopped off, but that's an entirely different story. :)  Because we were "so good"... meaning we didn't kill each other while waiting... we got purple streaks in our hair.  Totally trashy in real life but kind of charming on little girls.... kind of.

They washed out immediately... and I thank you. :)

July 4th

Emma Grace here.  We were in Norfolk for the 4th... Willoughby Spit to be exact.  Uncle Aaron invited us over for a BBQ and playtime at the beach... it was a lot of fun!

Sadly we didn't make it until firework time.  Between a lack of nap for me and Berkley's little heat bumps, we were done.  It was great fun nonetheless.  Happy Birthday America!
