Come and Gone

Rachel here.  Well, November appears to have come and nearly gone.  I've been an awful blogger lately.  To be honest... I just haven't been feeling it.  We have entirely too much going on... both great... and not so great things, but we're doing the best that we can.  We're hoping to be in our new home by Christmas, which is a blessing for sure, but it's proving to be quite stressful and has prohibited us from really enjoying this holiday season.  Ay yi yi.  We are living life though and enjoying one another which is what's most important right?!

We voted!  If you look VERY closely and pay attention to details, you can tell who the majority of us voted for.  EG voted against us all... middle child syndrome at it's best. ;)

 We have very few Christmas decorations up this year, as we'll be moving during it.  Because we're not sure if we'll be getting a real tree at all, I bought us this little Charlie Brown tree, which I love!  We also broke down and got PB stockings for the entire family.  All of ours were mis-matchy, and I love that we can keep these forever and they coordinate.

 We celebrated Thanksgiving at the girls' preschool.  They chopped all the veggies for a super yummy vegetable stew for all the parents.

 Here's to getting through the rest of the year without totally falling to pieces. :)  Also... my baby turns 7 months old in 3 days... I may or may not have just thrown up in my mouth a little.

Firsts...

Emma Grace here.  I've been waiting for three long years... three long years to well... turn 3. :)  It seems like life changes forever when you turn 3.  You're old enough to start dance...

 And you're old enough to start preschool... which I did... because... you know... I'm three! :)

 I got to go for 3 days by myself last week to learn the ropes before the sister joined me.  She had her first day yesterday, which happened to be one of the days we both go.  I go MWF, and Reese goes MTRF.

Can you say EXCITEMENT... for all involved.  Mommy dropped us off yesterday and just stood there... forever.  It's like she didn't know what to do with herself. :)

School's out for summer...

Today was my last day of preschool.  Of course I'll be back in the fall, but it was my last day nonetheless for the year.  Each year we have an end of the year picnic, and it was an absolute blast.  It's really nice to visit with all of my friends and their families one last time before summer officially begins.

Emma Grace has become an unofficial member of the Montessori family, which will make for an easy transition for her in the fall.  She'll do great!

 The BABY sister worked her charm to impress the other fellow babies of the group... no one can deny her cuteness in those baby leg warmers.

 Oh yeah... I WAS THERE TOO! :)  Here is a photo of me from the first day of school... and then the last day.

 While we're very excited for it to be summertime, we can't help but love these two ladies like crazy and will be anxious to get back to them in the fall. :)

Firestation

Last Tuesday we went on our annual field trip to the fire station for preschool. Mommy had a baby appointment, so Daddy took the little sister and me... Mommy showed up later. It was a jolly good time. I mean honestly... what kid doesn't like the fire station?
STOP... DROP... AND ROLL!After learning all about various fire fighting tools, and climbing in and out of A REAL LIFE fire truck, we got to listen to and watch the sirens.They were kind of loud. :)

Well hello there!

Hi diddly ho there! We're still here... still alive... still pregnant... still busy. :) Here's last week in a nutshell. We played outside... A LOT.We did SOME schooling... NOT a lot. :)I turned 29 for the 3rd year in a row, so we indulged in cake and fruit...We bought a new car to house our growing brood. Used 2012 Chevy Traverse baby... I heart it.
I turned 35 weeks today. 5 more to go... I'm hoping for 3 more to go... but healthy is all I truly care about.Bryan re-carpeted the stairs, weeded and mulched,
and resealed the driveway.
I shopped. :) (For the record... I've been told to lay down and take it easy. I do what I can around here, which is mostly keeping things cleaned and organized. Not supposed to be doing everything I WAS doing a couple of weeks ago. I'm trying REALLY hard, but I'm finding it hard seeing projects that need to be done and knowing that I physically can't do them.)We cleaned out the garage and moved much of the contents to our storage unit.We also met with realtors... many times... with many questions, and we've finally chosen one to work with. With just a few little minor projects left to cross off the list, we should be listed soon!!!! :)
